Walking into an Anglo-Catholic church for the first time, I was overwhelmed. Basically, it was the opposite of the church I grew up in. One of the most conspicuous differences was the thurible.
Give us grace, Almighty Father, so to pray, as to deserve to be heard, to address thee with our hearts, as with our lips.
We'd been dating for five years, and while I always knew we would return to our faith at some point, I wasn't exactly expecting that we would take such a direct route. God has a plan for us all, but sometimes you don't know if you want anything to do with it.
